Tai Chi originates from China where it is practised by people from all walks of life and levels of ability. It is a form of exercise open to everyone. Tai chi is an exercise system that has its roots in Chinese culture and history, it is for health, fitness and martial arts, its circular, controlled and theraputic movement make it at once powerful and beauitiful. Once learned it is used to promote health in body, mind, and spirit. It reduces stress, can be done by adults of any age, any time anywhere, from beginner to advanced levels. Studies in Qigong, chinese medicine and philosophies, Budhhist,Confuian and Daoist are added and can be developed by the student into an effective lifestyle programme, complete martial art, or sport following the intention of each individual. Tai Chi or Taiji forms currently taught:-24 yang style, 42 Combined form, 85 Yang Yi Lu Laojia, 42 Taijijian, sword, Chen Yi Lu Laojia , Chen Dao shu, Broad sword, Sun 31, Wu Style Dao shu, Terence and Isabel are both qualified by the CWA at 4th Duan / Dan level .
