Coaching Programme |
The coaching programme is run by Bobyhealth TAI CHI and is modeled on Long Term Coach Development and Continuous Professional Development, from Sport UK frameworks for coaching, Levels 1 to 4 Sport N.I. and the National Chinese and Associated Martial Arts (NCMA), the Governing Body, provide the theory and practical exams and qualifications. Bodyhealth TAI CHI provides the supervision , practical, theorectcal and supervised practice and training of the coaching courses.

UKCC *Coaching Levels 1-4
Level 4 represents 600 Hours min study - 2400 Hours
Level 4 Design, implement and evaluate the process
and outcome of long-term/specialist
coaching programmes
Levels 1 - 3 represent 300 Hours min study
Level 3 - 164hrs
Plan, implement, analyse and revise annual
coaching programmes
Level 2 - 104hrs
Prepare for, deliver and review coaching session(s)
Level 1 - 75 hrs
Assist more qualified coaches, delivering
aspects of coaching sessions, normally
under direct supervision
Technical Exams
Duan Wei or Level grades
Technical skills are assessed by grading,
either the Duan Wei (Dan) system of China
grades 1-9 or Bodyhealth TAI CHI Level 1-9.
Levels apply to traditional students.
